VLADIVOSTOK, June 17, vladivostoktimes.com The Japanese companies are taking an interest in preparing Vladivostok for APEC summit; RIA PrimaMedia was informed by Sergey SLOBODCHIKOV, the press-secretary of Primorye Builders Association. Soon the Japanese delegation is to arrive in Vladivostok to study the possibility of mutual cooperation in the field of building industry and economic development. The members of the delegation will study the city infrastructure and economic situation particularly. According to Mr. CATAGIRY, the Deputy Director of the Industry Policy Board of the Department on Economics and International Relations, many Japanese companies are becoming interested in building the APEC Summit objects and intend to bid on the contracts. Sergey FEDOREENKO, the Director of the Russian Agency, informed that there are some available plots of land in Vladivostok and the hotels, shopping malls, recreation and service centers may be erected there.
