VLADIVOSTOK, January 11, vladivostoktimes.com First Youth Charity Christmas Ball will be held in Vladivostok on January 17, 2010 by the blessing of the archbishop of Vladivostok and Primorsky Territory Veniamin, as the head of the information center Marina KOZININA reported to RIA PrimaMedia.

The organizers are the Vladivostok and Primorye Eparchy department on youth issues, Union of Primorye Orthodox Youth, and Cossack cultural group “Traditsiya” and Page Group of Vladivostok. The representatives of public youth organizations and student’s councils of Primorsky Territory will take part in the Christmas ball.

The purpose of the event is to draw Primorye young people’s attention to traditional holiday of Christmas. The program includes concert (dances, songs, and performances), competitions, some historical dances and some more activities.

Address: Pushkinsky Theater, 27 Pushkinskaya Street (FESTU bus stop).

Time: 5 pm – 10 pm

Dress code: evening dresses for women, suits for men.

All profit will be directed to support Primorsky Territory social establishments in the frameworks of work of social sector of the Vladivostok and Primorye Eparchy department on youth issues.
