VLADIVOSTOK, January 20, vladivostoktimes.com Construction of purification facilities of Central planning Vladivostok area goes according to the schedule. The constructors plan to finish it at the end of this year. The main contractor is Regional State Unitary Enterprise “Primorsky Vodokanal”. A lot of work has been done: the mechanical purification building is being erected; concrete bases for ultraviolet water treatment have been laid; foundation pits for two transformer substations were made; collectors are being built, as the Primorsky Territory Administration press service reported to RIA PrimaMedia with the reference to Regional State Unitary Enterprise “Primorsky Vodokanal”. We would remind you that the construction of sewage facilities complex in Central, Southern, and Eastern planning areas of Vladivostok is planned in the frameworks of Vladivostok preparation for APEC summit 2012. Also the reconstruction of Northern area is being conducted. The construction of purification plant will allow preventing sewage disposal to the Peter the Great Bay and it’ll have positive influence on ecological and sanitary state of the water.

Information: Productive capacity of purification plant of Central Area will be 160 thousand cubic meters per day. Multilevel sewage treatment is planned: mechanical, bio and advanced treatment though special filters which completely remove even chemical impurity. After it the water will be disinfected in ultraviolet unit.

Sludge will be treated too through condensation, dehydrating, drying, and pressing. Then it will be utilized.
