VLADIVOSTOK, January 23, vladivostoktimes.com Five oil carriers were shipped with oil at Kozmino, the specialized maritime oil-loading port, from January 1 to January 21, 2010. Each tanker lot amounts to 100 thousand tons of oil. Total half a million tons of ESPO oil was shipped since January 1, 2010; the press service of the OJSC “Specialized maritime oil-loading port Kozmino” reports. Since Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system was put into service on December 28, 2009 tankers “Libya,” “Pacific Energy,” “Moscow University” and “Ashahda” moored at Kozmino Port; “Moscow University” and “Ashahda” could do it twice. The port can anchor 80-150,000-ton vessels. “Libya,” the first tanker that moored at Kozmino in 2010, is a liquid carrier of 150,000 tons’ displacement. The tankers are shipped according to the schedule of delivery signed by the representatives of oil companies and JSC “AC Transneft.” One of these days 1,000-ton tankers “Atlantic explorer” and “Sky lady” are expected to call at the port; it will increase the amount of oil shipping in January to 700 thousand tons.
