VLADIVOSTOK, January 31, vladivostoktimes.com The number of active Internet shoppers in Russia increased twice. 52% residents make Internet purchases 2-3 times a week or once per month, according to the report of research holding ROMIR, as RIA PrimaMedia reports with the reference to ROMIR web-page. As the sociologists revealed, the number of Russians who made purchases through the Internet at least once increased by 8% and comprised 70% of total number of online shop visitors. But almost half of the residents – 48% - still make Internet purchases rare. The number of residents who make Internet purchases more than 2-3 times per week is not big but it is growing: it becomes 3 times bigger during the year and today these customers comprise 3% of total number of respondent. “It seems like this year the tendency will develop and the number of residents making Internet purchases will grow.
