VLADIVOSTOK, February 23, vladivostoktimes.com The 4.6 magnitude earthquake shocks were felt on the border of Russia, China and North Korea. The hypocenter was registered at a depth of 580 km; “Vesty” reports. The closest to the earthquake epicenter places are settlements Andreevka and Slavianka in the Khasan District, Primorsky Territory; they are located 31 kilometers away from the seismic focus. According to the Russian and American earthquake seismographs, the focus is in the Khasan District in Russia at about the same distance from Vladivostok and Jhonjing, which is the third large city in North Korea. There were no victims in Russia and China; the damages and tsunami were not caused either since the hypocenter was registered at a considerable depth – over 500 kilometers belowground.
